If in doubt, paddle out, at the Battle For The Bay
Festival!
Go with the ‘flow’ this May at the Battle for the Bay Festival! Established in 2006, this energy driven event comes back with more fun and entertainment for all on the weekend of the 26th and 27th of May. The largest water sports competition will take place, nowhere else but at the Dollymount Beach in Clontarf, where you can watch and support the adrenaline-lovers that are taking part in this tournament. If you’re a fan of SUPing, Kitesurfing or any other water sports out there, this event is a must-see.
If you’re super keen to try out any of the sports, there will be qualified instructors on site to introduce you to the basic fundamentals of each activity. For those of you who just want to watch and have a good time, there will be live music, great food and drinks, followed by a lot of games and activities. Some of these include beach volleyball, mega funfair, SAND CASTLES and more. Not to mention the follow up late night parties in the area.
There will be entertainment for every age group and since there is no entrance fee, you have no excuse but to attend! So grab your beach towel, some sunscreen and head to Clontarf for a guaranteed fun, surprises and, of course, WATER!
